Gas powered vehicles.
In conjunction with Gas Container Services, we can now offer a genuine `Green` solution to commercial vehicle users. Chassis run on bio-methane, with a light weight, recyclable, body, to reduce unladen weight. These vehicles give benefits from all angles towards being more environmentally friendly.
NBC Vehicle Solutions Ltd are working closely with local authorities to bring these ideas into every-day use, giving real solutions to carbon reduction targets.

Rushcliffe Borough Council Trial bio-methane powered RCV.
Thanks to the input by NBC and GCS, Rushcliffe Borough Council are trialling a gas powered RCV (Bin wagon). This trial is being very carefully monitored, and results will be available. Initial results are very promising, and Bob Yarnall at RBC is confident it will lead to more of these vehicles being used in Notts. This trial has largely been possible because the vehicle can come to Private Road 7, Colwick, each day to re-fuel.

This trial is now complete, and showed that with careful planning gas powered vehicles can contribute towards lower emissions, and long term cost savings.
